Dubai miracle garden
If you think flowers can’t grow in the desert, you are right, it’s practically impossible to maintain a flower in a dry climate. So imagine the magic of finding yourself surrounded by 100 million flowers in the middle of a desert city. Crazy right? Well, leave it to Dubai to defy all odds once again with the creation of the Dubai Miracle Garden. Opened in 2013, the garden is currently in its fifth season with its doors open from October to April. Each year the garden closes in the summer months to recreate the flower arrangements and design new themes. This year the garden is home to the largest floral sculpture in the world, which shapes an airbus A380 in partnership with Emirates Airline.
The Dubai Miracle Garden exceeded all my expectations with it’s beautiful and colorful flower creations. If you plan on visiting the garden, which I recommend you do, try to go either early in the morning or later in the afternoon when it’s not so hot. Unfortunately we had to visit it in the heat of the early afternoon and I didn’t get a chance to explore the whole property because it was that hot lol! But anyways lets talk fashion!
Trying to stay conservative and fashionable in the midst of the heat I decided to go with a breezy linen romper. Leave to Anthropologie to perfect a romper that will keep you stylish, breezy and doesn’t wrinkle in your suitcase, despite it being linen. I paired the look with white sandals comfortable enough to walk all day, and my favorite hat to keep the sun out of my face.
Love always, Laura B.
